The Sunburn is a blog about the art world as it turns in South Florida, particularly Miami-Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach counties. It attempts to describe the art and its related goings-on in this region with a critical, clear eye.
The Sunburn is propogated by Franklin Einspruch. Any content unclaimed by a byline is probably his. Einspruch has at one time been or is now associated with the following entities: ArtCenter/South Florida, Dorsch Gallery, the University of Miami, AI/International Fine Arts College, and the Miami Art Exchange. Also, he has been or is currently involved, socially or romantically, with an unspecified (albeit small) number of figures in the local art world. His writings therefore may be suspected of bias. He will nevertheless work to avoid it.
